Earlier this year, Natalie & Bobby reached out to me looking to do an adventure elopement in March. The weekend they were looking to get married was my birthday weekend, and although I had planned to take the weekend off for a little R&R once I heard what they were looking for, I couldn't pass on it. When I asked the significance of the wedding day, they told me their birthday(they share the same birthday!) was that week...just two days after mine! Once I heard that, I knew I had to be apart of this Aries' weekend!
A Beginning Abroad
Natalie and Bobby Love's story starts while working together in Puerto Rico for FEMA, where Natalie is originally from. They did the long-distance thing for a while before settling in Washington.
Natalie never wanted a lavish wedding but something private and intimate. They set their eyes on the Hoh rainforest, which reminded Natalie of the rainforest back home. I always recommend that you plan on staying the night when you are traveling more than two hours away. Although, the four-and-a-half-hour drive is beautiful and well worth it. You want everyone to be refreshed for the ceremony and photos.
Surrounded with Support & Love
With six of their closest, most supportive, and understanding friends who are also their coworkers, we set on our way. Natalie and Bobby's dreams of an intimate boho-chic ceremony were coming true. The next morning in a BHLDN dress paired with Hiking boots Natalie and Bobby committed themselves to one another in what was a picture-perfect moment. The rainforest served as a beautiful backdrop to the celebration of life and love with this incredible couple. After being wed by their dear friend Beau, their love for sightseeing and adventure lead took us on a 30-minute drive to the incredible Ruby beach. This is a destination that you can not pass on when you are in the Olympic National park. Ruby beach offers a stunning open view of the Pacific Ocean and features beautiful rock formations. With a bride and groom who weren't afraid to get a little dirty and make the best of this cold spring day, we were able to capture some fantastic shots. Take a peek at how we spent the day exploring!
