How do I book with you?

Simple! For any inquiry,please complete the the inquiry form on the 'Contact Us' page and I'll get back to you within 24 hours with information! Everyone must complete a contact form so that I can give you personalized, accurate information about your needs. Now that you know how, I look forward to hearing from you!!

What is your photography style?

I love to capture organic moments! I look for genuiune laughter, happiness, and contentment, and any other emotion that helps tell your story. You won't catch any doctored photos on my site. I capture images as they are and enhance them only to further pronounce your natural qualities. I love this job! Style: Documentary

How long will it be before I can see my photos?

Preview images are posted to social media accounts within two (2) days of your session. So make sure to like our Facebook page at and follow us on instagram ( @capturedbycandacephoto. You'll recieve your full online gallery in 10-14 business days.

How much are portrait sessions, and what do they include?

Glad you asked! Sessions start at $350 and depending on your package, each session will include: - Session fee - Continuous planning and consultation in preparation of your session - Location of your choice, within 15 miles of zipcode 98178 ( further distances subject to travel fee) - A pre-determined amount of digital images - May include print credit - Private, online photo gallery to purchase your images and purchase products

How much are your wedding collections?

I'm glad you asked! For 2021, we're only accepting intimate wedding bookings as reduced attendance will likely be a requirement for gatherings for a while. Elopement collections starts at just $1900. 2022: Wedding collections range from 6-10 hours and start at $3400. Contact me and let's chat to see what fits your needs the best!

Do you offer special event coverage?

Yes! I absolutley do, and I'd love to cover your personal or professional event! Event coverage is booked at a (2) hour minimum and starts @ $225/ hour. Hosts recieve a full online gallery with social and original sized photos from the event. For more info, please complete a quick contact form.

What confirms my booking?

Great question! Once we've agreed on a date, a signed contract and paid retainer will confirm your appointment! This ensures that no one else has access to me on the date and time you've reserved. All portrait sessions require a $50 retainer to confirm the booking. For weddings and events, please see your contract.

Friendly Guidelines

Do you require a retainer ?

Yes! To confirm your booking and reserve your session time, a non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking a session, event, or wedding to reserve the photographer's time. This agreement assures that the date is exclusive to only you and cannot be booked by another client.

Do I need to sign a model release? Why?

Yes! A simple model release is requried for all sessions because I may use your image on social media or my website to market my business and display your beautfiful faces in my portfolio!

If I can't download my picture, can I just take a screen shot?

Although this may seem like a quick and easy fix, taking a screenshot of your photo reduces the quality of the image and isn't a good reflection of the photographer. Most sessions include FREE digital downloads! If you need help, please don't hesitate to contact me and I'll gladly walk you through the simple download process.

Do you want me to tag you when I share my images?

Yes, please! I am happy that you love your photos and want to share them! Please tag or mention my page or handle when using FaceBook (Captured by Candace Photography) or Instagram (@capturedxcandacephoto). I TRULY appreciate your help in spreading the word!
